1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the SteelConnect platform (“Platform”), operated by Metalyx Technologies LLP (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. About the Platform

SteelConnect is a brand and product of Metalyx Technologies LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India and based in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, India. The Platform is a professional marketplace and toolset for the structural steel industry, providing AI-powered cost estimation, a designer/contractor marketplace, private Project Rooms for collaboration and file storage, and related communication features.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use paid services. You must provide accurate, current and complete information at registration and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information in your profile, project listings or quotes;
Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purpose;
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality or security;
Attempt to access other users' accounts or our systems without authorisation;
Scrape, harvest or collect data from the Platform without permission;
Upload malicious files, viruses or unlawful content.

5. AI estimates, projects & quotes

AI-generated estimates and quantity take-offs are provided as decision-support tools and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for independently verifying all estimates, quantities and costs before relying on them for business decisions. SteelConnect is a platform that connects users and does not itself perform construction, detailing or fabrication work, and is not a party to contracts formed between users.

6. Payments & subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription or a one-time purchase. Prices are shown on our pricing pages and are billed in advance for the chosen period.
Indian customers are billed in INR (₹) through Razorpay; a GST-compliant invoice is issued for every payment.
Plans are one-time payments for a fixed period and do not auto-renew.
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Intellectual property

All Platform content, trademarks, software and technology are owned by Metalyx Technologies LLP or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a limited licence to host and process it to operate the Platform. You must not reproduce or distribute Platform content without authorisation.

8. Your content & data

You are responsible for the files and information you upload and confirm you have the right to share them. We handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy. Files you delete may be recoverable from a recycle bin for a limited retention period and are then permanently removed.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Platform at any time; paid access continues per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kochi (Ernakulam), Kerala, India.
